Principal Investigator

Dr. Leher Singh

Dr. Singh holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from Brown University, a M.A. in Psychology from Wesleyan University, and a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College. She specializes in Developmental Psychology, with research focused on language and cognitive development in infancy. Her work explores early word learning, the impact of bilingualism on development, and the influence of socioeconomic factors on early language acquisition. She is also involved in analyzing diversity and representation within developmental research. Dr. Singh is currently the Chair of the Department of Psychology and is affiliated with the Applied Developmental Psychology graduate program.

Megan is a University of Michigan alumni having finished her studies with a Psychology, B.S. in May 2025. She has rooted interests in cultural, linguistic, and organizational psychology.
